Hello! My name is Selina. My husband and I are the loving owners of our Fuzzy Fox Face husky named Booey, or Boo-Boo. Boo lost his rear leg 2- 1/2 months ago to a failed CCL implant surgery.
It was hard to wrap our heads around initially, as 3 months previous to the surgery he had all 4 legs and running the trails! We are still very much adjusting to this new life of ours, but after reading Wyatt’s Blog, a part of me felt inspired.
There was something about Wyatt’s expression that reminded me so much of Booey. I found both the words and photos very comforting. So with this, I hope Booey may do the same for others. You never know, maybe you will see your dog in him!
This is such a great idea.
Thanks Mum!
Ohhh Selina! As Wyatt’s mum you made my day (and his Dad’s too!). We are so glad Wyatt’s story (and the Forums too!) could bring you comfort during such a scary time. He was a zany wild boy who really had a great life as he should, we just had to be a little more careful with his activity level. I had fun updating his blog with all his crazy antics over the 12 years he was in our life.
I know you guys will be wonderful advocates and Tripawd parents for Boo.
Let us know how we can help! And thank you so much for your generous gift too, it’s our honor.
Boo! You majestic looking prince. I have no doubt in your ability to adjust and adapt to this change life has thrown at you. I look forward to watching your journey.
My buddy Boo! Miss snuggling with that handsome fella. And Furn.
Boo, you are still beautiful pup, and we are sure you will adjust to your new situation. We miss you. These are great photos and such a great forum.
